These days with the country in constant recession, it’s no wonder women are on the lookout for jobs that they can do at home, and what better than a chat job? But where can you find one of these without being stung for hundreds of pounds?
Where do you start? On the internet, I guess. Google is normally your best friend when you want to search for a chat job. So stick “chat job” into google and see what comes up. Always try to look for a site that looks decent but not cheesey – those sites that are tacky are definitely not the way to go when looking for a chat work.
Chat Job Scam?
When you come across sites that offer you a chat job, you must look for a few things. Is the site sleazy? Sleazy site tends to mean sleazy work. Are they offering you £15 – £20 an hour? If you believe that you can get ££££s for chatting on the phone for an hour then you are very much mistaken, or guillible. This amount of money tends to only be in the imagination of TV production companies who produce programmes for Channel 4. If you too believe you can get £1 a minute for taking a call, then you need to step away right now as you’ll believe that the internet costs £200 a second and there are little green men living in Mars. Get that out your head now.
Some companies will even promise you hundreds of calls per day for ££££££s if you register with them and pay a fee of £100. Yeah, right. Well tell them to take the money out of the ££££s that you make on the calls if it’s that great. And if you believe that you’ll get calls from these companies after you pay a fee, run away now… run far, far away.
Chat Job Reality
OK so if that’s not the case, what’s the truth about chat jobs? The rate of pay is definitely not that as portrayed recently in a documentary seen on the tv. Rates of pay are much better than the national minimum wage. It’s actually quite generous for work from home, especially since you can sit down with a nice cup of coffee, couple of biscuits, watching television while taking the calls. No-one to answer to but yourself and if you get the right company, working your own hours. It’s easy for students to do, single mums, stay at home mums – seriously easy to do and believe it or not it’s great fun too.
